Our work

What We Are Building Next

We are a young foundation. Rather than claim results we have not yet earned, here is an honest picture of the projects being scoped and developed right now.

Delivered & ongoing

What we have done, and what is next

Several of these are already delivered and running. Each one is shaped around a specific community’s stated needs, and every status below is the honest one.

  • A presentation cheque for market women being held up at a public event in Auchi

Training & Empowerment of Market Women

Training, direct financial empowerment, and a platform for market women in Auchi, Edo North, delivered in collaboration with Senator Adams Oshiomhole.

    Delivered · June 2025

    Pillar: Women’s Empowerment

  • Bread being distributed from the back of a vehicle to a waiting crowd

    Donation Day, Nima

A street distribution of food and essential supplies in Nima, Accra, reaching families, elders, and people living with disability where they already were.

    Delivered · Ghana

    Pillar: Essential Needs

  • Shalimar Abbiusi and volunteers standing behind stacked cases of bottled water and supplies with schoolchildren

    School Water & Supplies Delivery

    Pillar: Essential Needs

  • A crowded room of women at a community gathering

    Community Meetings & Outreach

Village halls, classrooms and market lanes across Ghana and Nigeria, where the foundation listens first and designs afterwards. Running continuously.

    Pillar: Tailored Local Impact

  • A crowd on a busy street during a community outreach

    Detention Monitoring & Legal Support

Documenting cases of detention without due process, and connecting people to legal support, the work that grew directly out of our founder’s own experience.

    Ongoing

    Pillar: Advocacy & Justice

  • Supplies being distributed to people seated along a roadside

    Dignity & Essential Supplies

Direct distribution of essential supplies, delivered in a way that never asks someone to trade their dignity for their needs.

    Ongoing

    Pillar: Community Empowerment

  • Donated supplies stacked outside a school building with pupils and volunteers behind them

    Clean Water Access

Identifying communities without a reliable, safe water source, and the most durable way to change that, from boreholes to filtration and maintenance training.

    Scoping

    Pillar: Essential Needs

  • A schoolgirl seated among classmates during a community meeting

    School Support & Materials

Supporting children already in classrooms with the materials, uniforms, and resources that quietly decide whether a child keeps attending.

    In development

    Pillar: Essential Needs

  • A street gathering during an outreach, including a person using a wheelchair

    Healthcare Access

Working towards basic healthcare access for people currently choosing between treatment and eating, starting with the most immediate local gaps.

    In development

    Pillar: Essential Needs

  • A crowded room of women at a community gathering

    Community Empowerment Programmes

Skills, training, and opportunity built with local leaders, so that the benefit stays in the community long after a project closes. Expanding on the Edo North programme.

    Pillar: Community Empowerment

We publish no impact statistics until we have genuinely earned them. The delivered projects above are documented in photographs and video on our press and media page.

Our process

How a project comes to life

A community names the need

Not a survey written elsewhere. A conversation with the people who live with the problem every day.

We scope it honestly

What would actually solve this, what would it cost, who maintains it afterwards, and what happens if we get it wrong?

Funding is raised transparently

Donations, events, and partnerships, with a clear line between what was given and what it went towards.

Delivery with local partners

Local knowledge leads. Our role is to resource the work and stay accountable for it.

We report back

Including the parts that did not go to plan. Trust is built by what you admit, not only by what you announce.

Project updates

This space is reserved for updates, photographs, and reports from the field as each project begins.

Delivery in progress

What delivery looks like

Distribution days, market outreach, and the logistics behind getting supplies to people.

These projects need funding before they need reporting.

Every contribution moves one of them from planned to under way.
